regression: --key-file broken for action create
Issue 104 by jo...@freesources.org on 2011-05-16 18:33:09:
Hey Milan,
It seems like Oren Held found a regression in cryptsetup 1.3.0. The commandline option --key-file doesn't work as expected for the action 'create' any longer:
the following works as expected:
# echo "password" | cryptsetup -c aes-cbc-plain -h ripemd160 create ctest /dev/xyz
on the other hand, the following doesn't:
# echo "password" | cryptsetup -c aes-cbc-plain -h ripemd160 --key-file=- create ctest /dev/xyz
Cannot read requested amount of data.
I guess that this is related to the new hardcoded maximal keyfile size.
