Debug output or standalone test for clang-tidy
I have trouble enabling the clang-tidy checks.
Before enabling them, everything works great.
After enabling them in the preferences:
failed to reparse <PATH_TO_FILE>/main.cpp
is the reaction on opening any file.
Is there a way to print the command that is built up here (https://gitlab.com/cppit/jucipp/-/blob/master/src/compile_commands.cpp#L245) is at the end?
I think this command fails in the background.
error: unable to find plugin 'clang-tidy'
is printed to the command line.
Any flag I can set to make all these "magic-behind-the-scene" commands printed to the command prompt?
Or more specifically, can I test this command standalone?
clang -I/usr/lib/clang/13.0.0/include -fsyntax-only -Xclang -add-plugin -Xclang clang-tidy
fails with unable to find plugin 'clang-tidy'
.
Maybe this is specific to the clang version 13?
However clang-tidy --version
works.
