CoreCtrl shows my AMG GPU's activity always 100% (even when Radeontop doesn't)
CoreCtrl shows that my AMD GPU's activity is always 100%. Even when Radeontop doesn't. See the attached screenshot.
My GPU is the integrated one on a Thinkpad E495's Ryzen 5 3500U (Radeon Vega 8 Graphics). I'm running Arch Linux, latest kernel (currently Linux 5.15.5), latest X11 and AMDGPU driver, linux-firmware 20201023 (because of this bug affecting my AMD GPU). This issue has been affecting me for months.
I'm not sure if this is a bug with CoreCtrl, radeontop or something else. Would you know of other ways to check the GPU activity (e.g. via command line)?
I'm keeping the GPU forced at the minimum frequency with CoreCtrl to keep the fan quiet, but the activity remains at 100% even if I let the GPU free to scale up.
