Communalia is the European Association of Maximalist Cooperatives. Maximalist cooperatives are non-profit, egalitarian and socially committed worker cooperatives that operate by consensus and renounce the use of intellectual property and other forms of artificial scarcity as a way to generate income. We are not neutral either in the face of the great challenges of our time or in the face of the degradation of the material and cultural conditions of neighborhoods, towns and villages.
