Clickable review refuses absolute file paths, alternatives?
This might be more of an tech support question, but I am trying to port a HTML5 app that for some reason unknown to me requires absolute file paths for dynamic loading of assets. Normally this app runs on a website, so that it of little concern for the original developer.
So with the absolute paths in the app everything is working great and I tried already a lot of alternatives with relative paths that are all not working.
The only thing that is preventing me from publishing the first version is the insistence of Clickable and the Open-Store that absolute file paths are not allowed. And it seems to just parse the code for /opt/click.ubuntu.com/
so if that string shows up anywhere in my code the review fails.
I honestly neither understand why this is forbidden (given that the paths always stay the same on all devices), nor is the error message at all helpful if there are some click specific alternatives that could be used, i.e. is there something like $CLICK/www/ that would work like an absolute file path?
I am very grateful for any hints you can give me. Or maybe this is a restriction that could be changed? Thanks!
