repkg: (optional) strict patch
Currently, for the patch
operation, we simply call patch(1)
to apply changes to existing files. As patch(1)
may successfully apply changes even if the line numbers no longer match up perfectly, I would like the patch
operation to fail if the modified file is not exactly as expected (similar to how we check that a dependency we add isn't actually already there).
As some might not want to have it be so strict, this should probably be optional.
