GS46 support and refactoring...

1. wip: in preperation of GS-46 ..
2. small metadata adjustments and added dom to libs - otherwise 'console' calls aren't possible..x
3. wip: env-updates, corrected v52 handling - tests and adjustemnts outstanding..
4. wip: corrected version getters - those should be strict..
