Update abstractions/python and profiles for python 3.10

Fixes: #187 (closed)

I propose this patch for at least 3.0 and master.

Backporting to 2.12 and/or 2.13 shouldn't be hard - but it's a bit unlikely that a system running on these branches will get the latest python ;-)
