Winbind requires access to /var/cache/samba/msg.lock/*.

On Arch Linux Winbind's pid is set to /run/winbindd.pid ( https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/trunk/winbindd.service?h=packages/samba ).
