Fix issue #1177: Add project description and classifiers to PyPI page

This change adds a dynamic link to the readme as long description of this package, so that it appears as project description on the official PyPI page. It also adds classifiers for PyPI.

This change has been tested successfully on Test PyPI.

This is a fix for issue #1177 (closed)
