$VIEW("PROBECRIT") CPT time resolution is nanoseconds
Final Release Note
$VIEW("PROBECRIT") CPT time resolution is nanoseconds. Previously it was reported in nanoseconds, but it was a multiple of 1000, effectively making it microsecond resolution. [#333 (closed)]
Description
CPT values reported by $VIEW("PROBECRIT") are always a multiple of 1000. So even though they are in nanoseconds, they are effectively in microseconds. A better timer should be able to give us values that are not always a multiple of 1000.
