Utility program to identify discrepancies between a global directory and a set of database files
Final Release Note
Description
Draft Release Note
The %YDBGLDFIX utility program produces a set of commands that can be input to GDE so that the next time that global directory is used for MUPIP CREATE, the database files it creates have the same fileheader settings as the current database files mapped by the global directory. Previously the differences had to be manually identified and commands manually generated. Owing to the fact that files in a global directory can be defined with environment variables, we recommend that the output of %YDBGLDFIX be reviewed before actually using it to modify the global directory.
