Debugging cmake errors
While I have written to our IT department for some help, I am having a go at debugging why I'm not able to install STEMsalabim.
I had a go at installing via gcc, but the intel compilers seem quite keen on being "involved", which gives a mishmash of errors.
With the intel compilers things seem hopeful, but I initially got an error saying it was ignoring the specified cmake variable "MKL_ROOT", and then crashing because "MKL not found! Specify MKL_ROOT!". I fixed that by not specifying it as a CMAKE parameter, but instead making sure that the system environment variable MKLROOT
was set. Then it successfully finds MKL.
Currently it is stopping with:
-- Looking for C++ include pthread.h
-- Looking for C++ include pthread.h - not found
CMake Error at /cluster/software/VERSIONS/cmake-3.13.1/share/cmake-3.13/Modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:137 (message):
