SSH Opening Command
Problem to solve
Connecting to the same SSH Host for different Docker containers. I don't want to have to remember the commands and credentials. I don't want to log into the Host connection then have to Copy/Paste an opening command to get me to the right "place".
Further details
For example:
- SSH to the direct Host (as usual)
- Connect to PostgreSQL container, running PSQL to run some SQL commands. Example opening command:
cd /var/app/ && dcf exec db psql "postgresql://postgres:passwordhere@localhost/dbname"
- Starting in a particular folder. Example opening command:
cd /var/logs
Proposal
Remmina is already a Connection Registration tool, so allow users to create multiple connection profiles to the same host, but with different commands to be run after successful login.
- There should be a new text property in the Basic tab above "Start-up program" called "Opening command" and referenced as "run_line"
- Rename "Start-up program" to "Start-up background program" to more accurately reflect what that property does
- The user will be able to chain together multiple commands with &&
