- Special notes regarding the remote system (i.e. gateways, tunnel, etc): same subnet
Problem Description
Text copied on the local system appears as question marks when pasted on remote. I haven’t tested extensively, but this seems to be anything more than 8-bit text, e.g. ‘Moilleadóir’ copies OK but ‘⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺’ (a series of em dashes) does not.
Also when copying from the remote and pasting locally extra text is appended to the copied text. This extra text does not appear when pasted on the remote.
E.g. I was checking the optional commands on the remote and the output of remmina --full-version
ended with...
Target architecture: x64ǤÒÙÄ 0
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
...when copied remotely and pasted locally. Pasted remotely it showed just Target architecture: x64
.
The local locale is ga_IE.utf8
; the remote is en_AU.utf8
.
