Don't skip the follow-through of ranged weapon attacks

Fixes #9321 (closed)

Ranged weapon attacks in OpenMW skip the part of the animation between shoot release and shoot follow start: the first attack section is played up to release, and the follow section is then started from follow start, so everything in between is never shown. In Morrowind.exe the timeline is continuous, so this segment plays normally.

This is most noticeable with crossbows (~0.2s of recoil in the vanilla animations), but bows and thrown weapons are affected too, only for a couple of frames.

Changes

shoot attacks are now played as a single continuous section from max attack to follow stop instead of release. The release key becomes an internal key of the section, so the projectile is still launched at the same point in the animation.

Since the combined section includes both release and follow-through, aiming pitch is restored using progress between the follow start and follow stop text keys. Strength-specific follow sections for melee attacks remain unchanged.

Testing

  • Crossbow, bow and thrown weapons, first and third person: the follow-through now plays, the projectile is released at the same moment as before.
  • CrossbowPull is played once per shot (verified with temp logs).
  • Melee attacks at various strengths and repeated attack pacing: no observed changes.
