Camera sensitivity slider is hard to use
First: mouse and controller need separate camera sensitivity sliders. No design changes are needed for controller sensitivity adjustment otherwise, once it has its own slider, but mouse sensitivity is a big mess.
Second: Only the bottom several pixels are usable with modern mice (800+dpi); the vast majority of available sensitivity settings are unusably sensitive/fast. For example, I have a 1200dpi mouse, and the very bottom-most setting gives me 5.5 inches per 360. I'm OK with this sensitivity, but it's already on the "fast" end of sensitivities used by experienced FPS players. FPS players typically use sensitivities in the range of 7 to 20 inches per 360, with 12~13 being the "norm".
In order to support mice with all sorts of DPI values, the mouse camera sensitivity slider should be logarithmic (starting at something like 0.01 or 0.005 or maybe even lower) and have a text input to type in specific numbers (including numbers that are out of range of the slider, like 0.0).
If the slider can't be made to be logarithmic, it should go down to 0 and have a lower maximum value than it currently does.
"Can we detect DPI and adjust accordingly?" No. Mice do not expose their DPI to the host. In fact, they might not even have a linear motion response, the DPI might be different at different speeds (e.g. this is the case for old laser-illuminated optical mice).
