LessPass
Hi,
I've been a moderately happy user of MasterPassword for about 2 years now, but I just discovered https://github.com/lesspass/lesspass. I have not switched over but it looks to be more actively developed and has a more expansive community judging by stars assigned to the repo + contributors.
The strong points of MPW is the mere idea and the theoretical stuff (the whitepaper and your description of the algorithm clearly indicate that you know what you are doing). However, the practical implementation lacks usability in some areas1 and development appears almost dead to me.
LessPass appears to be inspired by the theory of MasterPassword but seems to bring better UX1 to the table - I'm only judging the screenshots and info right now but it looks promising. Its development is clearly more active right now.
I wonder what your thoughts are about that project and maybe if you would consider joining forces with the team. With your knowledge and experience I'm sure you would be a valuable addition.
Given that Open Source like this is usually developed on precious spare time, I would think it more efficient that energy of people like you is channeled into one robust project than two competing projects - unless there are good reasons for competition.
Curious for your thoughts.

w.r.t. usability, one thing that interests me in particular is more fine grained control over the generation of a site password (including/excluding character groups and choosing length vs. a plethora of templates) combined with the ability to store and sync these settings across devices using an open source server component.
