OnePlus 6T Bluetooth Connectivity Issues w/ Galaxy Watch 5
Expected Behavior
Bluetooth connectivity should re-establish after a paired Galaxy Watch 5 has been disconnected.
Current Behavior
Galaxy Watch 5 can be paired to the phone but the first time the watch loses bluetooth connectivity for any reason it will not reconnect unless the watch is fully factory reset and the pairing process is started AFTER the phone has been rebooted.
Things which do not correct connectivity individually:
- Toggling bluetooth on the phone
- Toggling bluetooth on the watch
- Rebooting the phone
- Rebooting the watch
- Removing bluetooth pairing from phone and attempting to re-pair the watch w/ Galaxy Wearable app (re-pairing fails with "unknown error")
- Factory resetting the watch and attempting pairing without
- Resetting phone network and bluetooth settings
Issue began with the April 16, 2024 update
A BT_oneplus.txt is attached with connection attempts
Steps to Reproduce
- Pair and setup Galaxy Watch 5
- Leave bluetooth range OR turn off bluetooth on either device OR keep device "sleep" over night
