Add missing release notes for Cassini 1.0.1

f834ad95 added the release notes for the Cassini v1.0.1 patch release

This should have been cherry-picked to main after !126 (merged) was merged to mickledore.

We need to add the missing release notes before adding the release notes for v1.1.0
