What is the goal or the problem, and why is it important?
The goal of this issue is to remove (Node Modules)[https://gitlab.com/LibreFoodPantry/modules/ordermodule-bnm/fillorder/Frontend/-/tree/master/front-end/node_modules] from the project and add a .git ignore for them.
How are you going to achieve the goal or solve the problem?
This will reduce downloading&uploading unnecessary files reducing the repo size. Node modules can be downloaded via npm install when a user downloads the project which includes the package.json. The package.json will instruct npm to install node modules.
What will be produced as a result of this effort and where will it live on GitLab?
This will be reflected by removing (Node Modules)[https://gitlab.com/LibreFoodPantry/modules/ordermodule-bnm/fillorder/Frontend/-/tree/master/front-end/node_modules].
Give a justification of weight or due date.
This task should be quick and require minimal effort and research. It will be therefore marked as a 1.
Who will do it, and what will they do?
@nicolebryant, @js576383, and @ajantara will complete this issue by creating a .gitignore file
What was the outcome?
The .gitignore file can be found here. All that needed to be added was a single line excluding any node_modules folders from git.
