Keen 5 & 6 new game text displayed not at the start of the world map
In Keen 4, the first text frame after starting a new game is displayed at the player start location on the world map in CGenius, as seen here:
In Keen 5 & 6 on CGenius however, this is not displayed at the player start, as seen here:
All of this, however, seems to be a feature of CGenius and not of Keen 4-6 running on MS-DOS. I've used the DOSBox-core libretro-core in RetroArch to see how the original second trilogy of Keen games behaves after starting a new game. The text frame is displayed, but surrounded by a black background, and the text frame fades entirely to black before showing the world map itself (the screenshot below shows to colors of the text frame already starting to fade to black, well, as good as the EGA color palette allows it to anyway).
It doesn't really bother me at all how CGenius makes its own flair to how this beginning text is displayed when starting a new game, with the world map actually showing instead of a pure black background as in the MS-DOS release, but I thought that I could mention this anyway (just in case that the text not displaying at the player start in Keen 5 & 6 in CGenius is in fact a bug).
This was tested on CGenius 63f0a615 on Windows 11.
