3rd temp in config.txt set to 65
3rd temp is set to 65
In config.txt, the 3rd temp is set to 65. dtoverlay=argonone,fantemp0=35,fanspeed0=33,fantemp1=40,fanspeed1=66,fantemp2=45,fanspeed2=100,hysteresis=3
$ argonone-cli -d
>> DECODEING MEMORY <<
Fan Status ON Speed 66%
System Temperature 43°
Hysteresis set to 3°
Fan Speeds set to 33% 66% 100%
Fan Temps set to 35° 40° 65°
Fan Mode [ AUTO ]
Fan Speed Override 0%
Target Temperature 0°
It can be set subsequently:
$ argonone-cli --temp2 45
$ argonone-cli --commit
$ argonone-cli -d
>> DECODEING MEMORY <<
Fan Status ON Speed 66%
System Temperature 44°
Hysteresis set to 3°
Fan Speeds set to 33% 66% 100%
Fan Temps set to 35° 40° 45°
Fan Mode [ AUTO ]
Fan Speed Override 0%
Target Temperature 0°
As a suggestion, maybe the dtoverlay parameters be the same name as for argonone-cli (without "fan").
Also noted is this error message in journalctl, but I have yet to determine if there is a negative effect:
Feb 23 18:26:47 xxxx systemd[1]: Starting Argon One Fan and Button Daemon Service...
Feb 23 18:26:47 xxxx systemd[1]: argononed.service: Can't open PID file /run/argononed.pid (yet?) after start: Operation not permitted
Feb 23 18:26:47 xxxx systemd[1]: Started Argon One Fan and Button Daemon Service.
Details about my setup:
Model : <PI4 B 8Gb>
OS : <Manjaro ARM 64bit>
Kernel :
Linux xxxx 5.11.0-3-MANJARO-ARM #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Feb 17 13:00:12 CST 2021 aarch64 GNU/Linux
Anything that would be considered not typical about your setup?
i.e. Custom kernel, Something is connected to the GPIO header
Software installed via the AUR. Nothing connected on the GPIO pins.
