🎓 Activities & Community
-
President of the IEEE RAS Javeriana Student Chapter (July 2022 - January 2025): My focus was to strengthen a student community of robotics learners and developers , focused on ROS / ROS 2, C++ and Python. Some of the projects developed by the community members include Flatboat, Swarm Project, microROS-on-the-cloud, DiffDan, urfi_project and ORION. One of our biggest achievements was to promote the First ROS MeetUp in Bogotá, Colombia.
-
Member of IEEE RAS Javeriana Student Chapter (Febrary 2021 - Present): Promoting robotics in students and developing projects with ROS 2.
-
ROSCon 2023 Diversity Scholar: It was an amazing experience to connect with the global community of ROS / ROS 2 developers, where I had the chance to present a lighting talk about the efforts on building a ROS Community in Bogotá.
