Yalp or aurora privileged extension, for general UX and more so for app bundles.
Google introduced a new non-apk Android app packaging mechanism recently, more at https://developer.android.com/guide/app-bundle
This cannot be installed via the normal unknown sources flow so far.
Yalp store allows installing such apps via either it's privileged extension or root (untested though)
Not sure if Aurora store supports this yet.
So we need to include the privileged extension depending on what supports the most and works best.
It would be good for UX either way, and is required for app bundles.
Tasks:
-
Fork Privext -
Add installSplitPackage
-
See if it works with upstream APK
