Google News articles do not load (AMP issue?)

Basic info

• Device: any
• CalyxOS version: 5.11.0 and likely earlier
• Chromium version: 128.0.6613.127 and likely earlier

Brief description of the issue

Most or all articles on Google News do not load.

Steps to reproduce

1. Visit https://news.google.com.
2. Tap an article.

Expected result

The article loads.

Actual result

The Google News page appears to refresh, not taking you to the article.

Logs (if available, they make fixing much easier)

Nothing useful.

Any other info

You can work around it with the desktop site.
