Further RE testing

Description

Adds some extra stuff we weren't testing in RE before, checking off three of the tasks in #994.

Tests added in the MR:

  • Remote build with junction
  • Remote build with buildtree
  • Remote build for something that fails

This also adds a small fix to script elements, where processing the job output didn't work when it failed.

This merge request, goes towards closing #994. To close this we still want an extra test of something bigger than autotools.
