Switching interface tabs no longer closes the current dialogue

Notes

There was some dispute over whether or not this behavior was in the original game. I have video evidence that npc dialogue did not close when the player switched tabs.

Nov 7 2008 runescape behavior: https://youtu.be/NvVVTkRZ2q0?si=6wD-rTAjNTpkEAft&t=184

  • You may want to watch it in slow motion, as it happens quickly. The player speaks to the tutorial wizard, the dialogue opens, and then the player switches from the stats tab to their inventory.

compare to 2009scape: https://youtu.be/HlRd82xqW64?si=ATk70_Rd-68tVR_M&t=63

  • Timestamped to when I took the same action with the same npc. Unlike the 2008 behavior, switching tabs closes the dialogue. The beginning of the video has more examples of the dialogue closing when switching tabs.

What has been done in this MR?

  • Switching interface tabs no longer closes the current dialogue

What should testers check?

  • Dialogues with npc's should not close when the player switches interface tabs (i.e. inventory -> prayer)
  • Dialogues with npc's should still close when player takes any other action (i.e. fletching, walking away, equipping an item)
  • I have tested these changes thoroughly.

  • I used the relevant Zaros tool for any JSON edits where possible, and have attached screenshots of any changes.
