Range weapons have a propensity to attack closer than the range the weapon has when attacking from behind an obstacle i.e. range weapons have weird pathing
What I did: Attack an elf warrior around the corner
What I expected to happen: To attack the first chance possible as I turn the corner
What actually happened: I ran right in front of it then attacked

If you look at my picture I edited in paint, I started on the left side and clicked on the yellow circle, and instead of attacking when I got my first line of sight I ran in front of the NPC. For some reason the path gets REALLY weird when there's something blocking the line of sight of you and the target and you have to run around it. Your character will often not attack on the first possible chance. Zero issues when attack in a clear line of sight.
In this picture you can see an even more egregious form of this. If you can get something blocking you and the NPC and the NPC still isn't in Line of Sight when you turn the first corner it seems like you have a very high chance of just running right in front of the NPC. Even results in NPC dancing sometimes. Don't know if this is a bug with the bow or pathing - don't remember the rune crossbow ever being this weird
