Metric-based Monitoring

Requirements:

• MUST be able to connect to external alertmanager via SSH port forwarding
• MAY be able to connect to external alertmanager via Wireguard
• MUST monitor all OpenStack services for availability from the inside
• MUST monitor all nodes for availability
• MUST monitor all node performance metrics (prometheus-node-exporter)
• MUST monitor node IPMI if available
• MUST allow adding additional targets to the prometheus scrape dynamically
• SHOULD support archiving a subset of metrics long-term
• MUST support providing access to the metrics via SSH reverse port forwarding to external services
