Hi, guys! Yesterday I’ve got the Oculus Rift Devkit. So, I really need to play in xonotic with it!)) I can support development with testing & debugging.
I found vertical stereo 3d support in darkplaces engine, we need only: * Image distortion to compensate Oculus lenses distortion * Parameters for configure VR (like in TF2 or Oculus World Demo) I found useful: r_stereo_vertical, r_stereo_separation, viewsize and “Field of View” settings, but this is not enough. * Headtracker support - adding yet another point of mobility (head movement). In the first approximation does not necessarily reflect the position of the head on other clients - no need to change the network code.
