Reticle images too big I think the reticle images are too big (2048x2048), they waste too much memory (really bad for low-memory pcs) and, you know, not so many players plays with a enough big screens to appreciate this exaggerated quality. Already 1280x1280 is an EXCELLENT quality. Can they be scaled down to reasonable sizes? Furthermore, they should be RLE compressed.
gl_texturecompression_2d I strongly suggest to enable gl_texturecompression_2d in low quality graphics presets as using high resolution images, memory usage could be significativly reduced. In my low memory laptop with gl_texturecompression_2d enabled I can run smoothly WickedX skin with its high resolution backgrounds (otherwise it runs insanely slow).
