g_powerups_drop_ondeath 1 and 2 never time out if player dies (and powerup dropped) in abyss

^ supposed to drop powerup on carrier death. with 1, timer supposed to keep going. but if the player dies in abyss, the powerup gets teleported to a weird place, and the timer freezes, showing the powerup through the walls until the end of match. even when the location of powerup seems to be within the map, it cannot be picked up.
to replicate: start match on boil map, pick up quad, jump off the balcony.
^ in the screenshot, the quad in the center is actually between those columns, but cannot be picked up, and its timer is frozen. the quad off to the left is a normal prompt for the next quad about to spawn.
