How to use CMake without always redownloading game packs?
Following the CMake build directions in README.md will redownload the game packs each time you compile (make -C build
). (Debian Stretch, CMake 3.13.2 from stretch-backports. Though this occurred using Debian Jessie as well.)
How are you suppose to avoid this? Run cmake -DDOWNLOAD_GAMEPACKS=OFF
after initial cmake
or learn all build targets to manually specify them? (Though build targets in README is currently wrong. #134 (closed))
It would be nice if the README gave a clear suggestion. Or maybe if CMakeLists.txt didn't add game_packs
to all
build target and instead README tell how to download game packs as a separate make game_packs
.
