mouse restart makes the mouse go crazy - linux
cobra created issue xonotic-data.pk3dir#1235 (closed) on 2012-05-31T10:01:38Z:
unplugging and repluging the mouse makes darkplaces use wrong mouse sensitivity
as darkplaces dosen’t know about the mouse module reloading in linux, it dosen’t recalculate sensitivity but im guessing it apply’s it ’cuz if it happens more times, the mouse goes crazier
note that it dosent affect menu cursor speed
as i’m noob at C**, i spoke to divVerent about it. The problem is darkplaces dosen’t know about the module reloading, and if i remember good a rewrite woud be necessary PS workaround is to bind sensitivity “somenumber” to button press and sensitivity “your’s” to button release, as setting it to what it is dosen’t reapply it PPS this is my first official bugreport :) so speak if something’s wrong PPPS as sayd im noob at C’s. but as the bug affects me probably the most if not only, feel free to leave it, il learn in the matter of months. dirty fix woud probably be to just recalculate the acceleration every sec or two, as the formula seems rly simple and shudn’t burden the cpu, but again idk much C** and dp
