Old Reddit keeps asking for permissions

Whenever I visit old.reddit.com with the userscript enabled, a floating message is shown by Reddit:

red-x requires permission from your reddit account. Would you like to grant permissions now?

It just keeps on appearing even after the permissions have been granted. This does not seem to affect new reddit.
