CH340G USB <---> TTL USB chip, external sensor
Hallo,
I have developed a very simple, yet working and cheap USB Vario.
It is based on Arduino Nano v3.0 board and a BMP280 - Bosch - external pressure sensure, and a simple piece of code.
I built 2 samples of the USB pressure sensor, one based on "real" Arduino Nano, which uses a FTDI232 chip USB <--> TTL chip, and a "chinese clone", which uses a CH340G USB chip.
Upload of the firmware is OK, both boards have same output, I checked with Android serial terminal / Arduino IDE serial terminal.
Android XCTrack recognizes only the FDTI "original" USB driver, whilst does not the chinese one.
Question: is there any chance XCtrack will implement CH340G driver? Chinese Nano 3.0 + BMP 280 mini board are very cheap, so a future implementation of this small piece of code would grant USB vario to many people with few dollars.
thanks!
