Storing configuration files: Prevent the user from overwriting the "wrong" file.
When storing an actor (or camera) to file, the user can select an existing file to overwrite it. While Met.3D asks the user if the file should really be overwritten, it often happens that accidentally a wrong file is chosen and confirmed. This could be prevented by checking if the file to be overwritten contains the same type of actor as the one that shall be stored. That is, the user chooses a file to be overwritten. Say, the user wants to save a horizontal section. Before asking for confirmation, Met.3D checks if the file already contains a horizontal section. If yes, it asks the user for confirmation. If not (say, it contains a transfer function), it displays a warning and rejects overwriting.
