WUSU Offline Download for Full Security Updates for Windows 7 and Office 2010
Hello There, I have a couple of Old Desktop PCs in my collection running a copy of Windows XP for one machine which was originally purchased in the year 2006 and another machine running the 64 bit version of Windows 7 which was originally purchased in 2013. I also have an old Netbook, originally purchased in the February 2010 which is upgradable for both storage and RAM. I have one 2.5 Inch Hard Disk Drive for it which I have installed the 32 bit version of Windows XP and I have another 2.5 Inch Solid State Drive which has the 32 bit version of Windows 7 Installed on it. I understand Windows 7 was originally released in January 2010 and officially discontinued in January 2020. As for Office 2010, as far as I remember, that was originally released in May 2010 and was officially discontinued in October 2020. I understand that WUSU does do security updates for both Windows and Office. From my experience of WUSU you can download security updates for earlier versions of Windows and Office as you have a whole archive of various different versions of WUSU for different operating systems and different versions of office. I did download a copy of updates for Windows 7 in two separate downloads, one for the 32 bit edition and one for the 64 bit edition but after installing it on my old desktop PC originally purchased in May 2013 and also on my old Netbook with 2.5 Inch solid state drive, it installs most of the security updates but not all of them as when I connect to the internet, the windows Update still finds updates on the Microsoft Server that were not installed offline. From taking a look at the Form sites you have on this website, people have pointed out you can make alterations to the settings and files in the WUSU offline program which would download more updates for Window 7 if not all the updates, but it is different depending on what version of WUSU you have downloaded. There are three things I need to know. The first is what version of WSUS offline should I download off the website so I can download the full security updates for both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows 7 and Office 2010 so I can install them offline on my old Desktop PC and Netbook? The second is what operating system should I be running to make the version of WSUS offline download all the security updates for both Windows 7 and Office 2010? Preferably a choice of four operating system is what I have available: Windows XP (32 Bit Edition), Windows 7 (Both 32 and 64 Bit Editions), Windows 10 (64 Bit Edition) or Windows 11(64 Bit Edition). The third is what alterations do I have to make to the settings and text documents within the version of WSUS offline I have downloaded so it will actually download the whole 10 and half year archive of security updates for Windows 7 and Office 2010, so I can install them offline and when I connect to the Internet of my old Desktop PC, Windows Update will not need to download any more updates as they have already been installed using the WUSU program. I understand Window 7 was officially discontinued in January 2020 and there were no more free security updates being offered for it. Ideally I would like two separate folders or ISO files for Windows 7 and Office 2010 Security Updates, one for the 32 bit version of Windows 7 and Office 2010 and one for the 64 bit version of Windows 7 and Office 2010. I am aware you have to have the most up to date Service Packs installed on all the programs such as Windows, Office, Microsoft Visual Studio, Flight Simulator and other old software I have purchased in previous years in order for WSUS to install properly. Please get back to me about the matter as soon as you can. Thank you, David Hunter.
