Devise a better way of passing arguments to specs container

The following discussion from !86 (merged) should be addressed:

  It seems that nightly has been updated, let's merge it!

  Next time we will need to think about the order of the merge / other workaround that would allow us to avoid having a red nightly pipeline 🤔

  We definitely need to devise a better way to pass arguments to the specs instance.
