Investigate the contents of video data passed from Insta360 cameras

Insta360 cameras stream video data via protobuf messages, which by initial investigation [thread] seems to be a H.264 raw video stream.

As this video stream should be usable both for streaming to video players and into files, and for conversion into other formats, we need to investigate whether there are any Insta360 specific metadata included in them (to be stripped down if possible), and what are the possibilities to convert the data into other formats on-the-fly.
