Arch Linux is a bleeding edge distribution which follows the KISS principle. This fits the requirements for a modern operating system, but it is hard to install and configure as everything is done manually by the user.
Andrei Linux is an attempt to create an opinionated system with day-to-day software included, but without the hassle of installing a system from scratch. It also follows the KISS principle, with the emphasis on the speed of the desktop environment. People are using apps and not the desktop environment.
Currently the installation is done manually, by following the instructions in the INSTALL.md file.
Practically this is Arch Linux with added configuration files and packages. The software repository is the same as Arch's.
Even if you need to install it manually like Arch Linux, the best part of it are the configuration files included in the repository.
Pull requests are welcome by everyone.
