Persistent notification dot

Hello there! This extension works really well and I'm pleased with it, thank you! The one problem I have is that the extension displays a notification dot whenever I go onto a webpage. It states permissions needed, and these permissions are granted by clicking the icon, but I don't want to do this every single time I visit a new page or even reload the current one. Is there a way to get rid of the dot permanently?
