I am now running Xfce 4.20 on Arch. I had to update vala-panel-appmenu-xfce to the git version, because otherwise it would not display the global menu entries (I see that there have been fixes specifically for 4.20; thank you for that). I noticed the following behavior which is likely not intended: Directly upon startup, the global menu displays "Desktop" as the foreground application name, plus the extra menu entries such as Video etc. This is as intended, I suppose. Now when I click on the desktop's background the foreground application's name changes to xfdesktop with no further menu entries. With previous versions of XFCE this had not been the case, and it is probably not intended, is it? (although it might be technically correct, since the desktop is xfdesktop)
