segfault on gentoo

Hi all!
I am having trouble starting utsushi on gentoo.
[I] media-gfx/utsushi [1]
Installed versions: 9999(09:22:10 PM 06/02/2018)(gtk jpeg network nls openmp tiff udev -imagemagick)
Homepage: https://github.com/utsushi/utsushi
Description: SANE backend driver for newer Epson scanners (DS, ET, PX, etc)
The scanner gets detected, but utsushi fails.
