Devise resource reservoir dynamics
In both model: EEcosy and model: EEcosy, there was the possibility to retain resources separately from those that were used to increase population size. In contrast, ~"model: Allhoff2015" does not provide such a mechanism: all energy either dissipates (through conversion and respiration losses) or is turned into biomass.
This issue is to device model dynamics that would allow for a species-specific resource reservoir or buffer. The interesting part of such a mechanism is that it allows transients to become unstable (overshoots, oscillations, etc.) – behaviour that is not possible in the current version where new fixpoints are approached mostly monotonically.
