On the focus page, select the zoom and position parameters if you want to crop the image (e.g. if the focus target is small). Select the "Refresh Image" button to pull a new image from the sensor.

Keep in mind the value of "Blur" in the table below the image. The blur value ranges from 0-1 with 0 being no blur and 1 being maximal blur, as measured by the blur metric. Lower is better, but the sensor will not hit a perfect value of 0.

Unlock the focus ring by turning the thumbscrew closer to the lens counter clockwise. You do not need to remove them, just loosen them a little until the ring can move freely. Do not adjust the thumbscrew closer to the camera body. That thumbscrew locks the iris adjustment, which was shipped at an f-stop of 8. If changes to the f-stop are desirable, discuss with the project manager.

Adjust the focus ring and request new images with the "Refresh Image" button and note the changes between images. Once satisfied, lock the focus ring by finger tightening the thumbscrew.

:exclamation: NOTE
In the provided video -- the blur value on the cropped image (zoom level==4) does not lower as expected after adjusting the camera focus to create a qualitatively better image. This is due to the high gain introducing a lot of noise to the sensor (which are tuned for daylight outdoor acquisition, which is a lot of light to try and reproduce in a home office!)
