Empty Trash on the launcher icon doesn't work

Ubuntu Unity 20.04.1. On the launcher 'Empty Trash' doesn't seem to work with the trash icon when clicking on it. Move a file to trash -> Right click on the icon in the launcher -> Click Empty Trash = Result: Not working.
