"Tap to wake" gesture state reset to off after rebooting

Enabling System Settings > Gestures > Tap to wake works, but is reset to disabled state upon rebooting. It seems this option simply doesn't have a GSettings value at all and just only controls the /proc/touchpanel/double_tap_enable value directly.
