This issue tracks the progress of the implementation of the following notification methods:
- RSS and Atom feeds
- Notifications in a web worker
- Social integrations including Mastodon, Twitter and maybe also a Telegram channel
The further improvement of this feature would be to add a feed for each device to notify of improvements and new available features that may have prevented the adoption of Ubuntu Touch by the user.https://gitlab.com/ubports/infrastructure/devices.ubuntu-touch.io/-/issues/39Add device warning with expiry date.2022-03-06T09:45:10ZBollyAdd device warning with expiry date.Hi, I think there needs to be some kind of warning about devices that may not survive 20.04. I think now that it's clearer it's a good time to add a warning. So that no one buys a device that may not make it to 20.04 without this information.

When launching the installation wee see this after selecting Oneplus 5 (without "t"):
"Before installing anything, make sure the OnePlus 5 is updated to the latest version of OxygenOS available (10.0.1)"
We also see the same statement in the device page. We see there as well that it is "built on Halium 9".
Just wonder if that is correct because if I get it right OxygenOS 10 is build upon Android 10. And yes it is now supported by oneplus 5 (https://community.oneplus.com/thread/1342454).
But aren't we here installing via halium 9?
hence wonder if it is good practice to upgrade the phone to android 10 before installation.
